Food eating for control and preventing diabetes ☘️

 

  

1)  Tomato. 

 

 * tomato ,  has fewer than 5 grams of carbohydrates   and is a good source of vitamins  A, C, and E, as well as potassium and lycopene.  

Tomatoes also contain resveratrol, which can improve insulin action. *

2) Cucumber.



The American Diabetes Association considers cucumbers a non-starchy vegetable,

  and they're low  in carbohydrates.   You can eat cucumbers in many ways,  such as in salads, sandwiches, or soups. 

Other vegetables that are good for people with diabetes include: 

Carrots,

 Broccoli,

 Zucchini, 

Cabbage, 

Spinach, Lettuce, Mushrooms, and Green beans.

To manage blood sugar levels, people with diabetes can also: 

Avoid packaged foods and high sugar intake

Eat more fibrous fruits and green leafy vegetables

Take food and protein supplements as prescribed by a doctor or dieti



3) Broccoli 


may help people with diabetes manage their blood sugar levels and reduce the risk of complications: 

Sulforaphane

To enhance the availability of sulforaphane, you can: 

Eat broccoli and sprouts raw or lightly steamed

Add active sources of myrosinase, such as mustard seed powder, to cooked broccoli

Broccoli is also a filling, heart-healthy food choice. One cup of raw, chopped broccoli contains: 31 calories, 6 grams of carbohydrates, 1.5 grams of sugar, and 2.4 grams of fiber.
